Job Overview

As an Analytics and Insights Designer at Disney, you will be responsible for building frameworks for data collection, maintaining a platform that supports data storage, processing, and retrieval, and assembling and evaluating consumer requirements for accurate and best-fit solutions. You will also work with stakeholders to gather clear requirements, join data from multiple sources to deliver ideal results, and identify potential opportunities to impact product outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Build frameworks for data collection and maintain a platform that supports data storage, processing, and retrieval
  • Assemble and evaluate consumer requirements for accurate and best-fit solutions
  • Join data from multiple sources to deliver ideal results for management reporting, executive dashboards, or KPIs
  • Work with stakeholders to gather clear requirements and identify potential opportunities to impact product outcomes
  • Define and document relevant process improvement opportunities
  • Utilize complex tools/projects to mine data sources and apply data engineering skills to develop more advanced solutions

Requirements

  • At least 10 years of experience working in Data Technology
  • Master-level expertise with Azure Data Factory, Snowflake, and data brick
  • Design background and additional skills and knowledge in data security
  • Experience with automation technologies and writing complex scripts using SQL or Python
  • Solid experience with Management domains and cycles
  • Proven expertise with Business Intelligence methods and tools - Tableau Server, Service Now, and Business Objects

Preferred Qualifications

  • Direct work experience in a Data Analysis or Data Engineering role
  • Experience with large data-driven projects where data is being obtained from different systems
  • Technical experience that includes data modeling is a plus
  • ITIL V2 or V3 Certified
  • Kepner-Tregoe Certified

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Programming, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or an equivalent field of study, or possibly equivalent work experience.
