We are seeking a compassionate and patient Customer Support Representative to provide essential support to individuals enrolling in public benefit programs on behalf of Automated Health Systems. As a remote independent contractor, you will have the flexibility to balance your work and personal life while making a positive impact on people's well-being and peace of mind.

About the Role

• Answer inbound calls and interact with customers in a professional, empathetic, and compassionate manner
• Provide information in accordance with established policies, procedures, and privacy laws
• Assist customers with program enrollment and route them to the appropriate contacts via three-way calls
• Utilize multiple computer systems to access data and document information
• Make outbound calls as needed to share time-sensitive information with customers

Requirements

• At least 1 year of customer service experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong active listening skills and attention to detail
• Proficiency in PC skills, including the ability to quickly learn new computer applications
• Positive attitude, empathy, patience, and professionalism
• Strong multitasking skills and ability to adapt to change in a fast-paced environment

Your Home Office Environment

• Computer with Windows 10 or 11, 8GB of RAM, and a hard drive with at least 500MB of free space
• Up-to-date antivirus software and high-speed, hardwired internet
• Dual monitors and a USB noise-cancelling headset
• Webcam for certification experience
