About the Role:

As a Cloud Engineer (Microsoft Azure) at Costco Wholesale, you will be responsible for:

• Designing, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructure environments using Microsoft Azure
• Building prototypes of potential features and improving automation of applications, systems, and platforms
• Applying knowledge to practical and sustainable applications and capabilities
• Contributing to the development of business, technical, project, and operational strategies
• Influencing and driving the adoption of best practices and high-quality standards across the division
• Integrating various solution components across multiple platforms using industry-standard interfaces
• Testing and resolving issues, performing root cause analysis, and recommending solutions and preventative measures

Requirements:

• 1-3 years of scripting experience to automate operational tasks
• Ability to advise and guide various team members through several concurrent projects
• Familiarity with cloud methodologies and passion for cloud technologies
• Microsoft Azure certification is preferred
• Experience with the Azure portal and console, XML, SOAP, REST, PowerShell, and Puppet
• More than 3 years of experience implementing enterprise cloud technologies and more than 2 years of experience with enterprise software systems
