Senior Computer Systems Analyst - Remote

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Computer Systems Analyst to join our team at Workwarp. As a Senior Computer Systems Analyst, you will play a critical role in analyzing and troubleshooting the performance of our software system products, deriving actionable insights, and informing key business initiatives. Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and maintain data systems and databases, including fixing coding errors and other data-related problems.
  • Conduct ad-hoc analysis and hypothesis testing to monitor specific system features performance.
  • Identify opportunities for system and process improvement and automation to enhance efficiency and scalability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into data analysis tasks.
  • Design, develop, and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate findings and insights to stakeholders.
  • Synthesize raw data into actionable insights to drive business results, identify key trends and opportunities, and report findings in a simple, compelling way.
  • Acquire, clean, and preprocess data from various sources to ensure accuracy, completeness, and reliability.
  • Utilize statistical techniques and data visualization tools to analyze and interpret large datasets, uncovering trends, patterns, and correlations.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data analysis and visualization.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or related discipline. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in data analysis, with 4+ years of hands-on experience in a similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in data manipulation and analysis using tools such as SQL, Python, R, or similar programming languages.
  • Familiarity with ETL/ELT and data pipeline processes and tools like dbt and Airflow.
  • Experience working with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
  • Solid understanding of statistical methods and techniques, including hypothesis testing, regression analysis, and machine learning.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proactive attitude towards learning and professional development.

What We Offer:
