We're seeking a dedicated and passionate Clinic Veterinarian to join our team at Animal Humane Society in Golden Valley, MN. As a full-time veterinarian, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to shelter and external customer animals, while promoting a culture of compassion, inclusivity, and safety.

Job Purpose: As a skilled and communicative veterinarian, you will provide professional recommendations, medical treatment, and surgical procedures to ensure the health and well-being of animals in our care. Your expertise will be essential in maintaining the highest standards of animal care, while fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform physical examinations, surgeries, and provide treatments, adhering to protocols and policies
  • Maintain accurate records, meeting all requirements of the Practice Act
  • Investigate diseases, implement isolation procedures, and evaluate animal containment areas to ensure proper health management and disease prevention
  • Foster an open and inclusive work environment, championing a culture of safety and promoting meaningful volunteer engagement

What We Offer:

  • Competitive salary: $95,000 - $110,000 per year

Requirements:

  • Valid Minnesota license to practice veterinary medicine
  • Availability to work during operational hours, including evening and weekend shifts
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external customers
  • Physical capability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs, with a high level of resiliency
