Structural Engineering Trainee - Buildings

CIMA+ is a leading firm in sustainable development and engineering solutions, known for its expertise in designing high-quality buildings. They are currently seeking a Structural Engineering Trainee to assist in structural design, conduct field work, and ensure compliance with construction standards.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in structural design and prepare drawings and specifications
  • Determine construction costs and quantities, and carry out studies and technical reports
  • Conduct field work including investigations/inspections for the design, retrofit, remediation and construction of structures
  • Review progress and compliance of construction work in accordance with tender documents

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in civil or structural engineering
  • Up to 2 years of structural engineering experience within buildings projects (ideally transit, aviation, defence, or federal industries)
  • Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle (for site visits, as required)
